Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She is the highest-paid actor in Bollywood, and is recognized for her work. She also serves as the brand ambassador of several companies and also is the owner of her own line of clothing for women that is known as Nush. She has also made her appearance in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma is child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. Anushka was the daughter of an officer who had retired. His mother is domestic helper. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a film director. Anushka graduated from Army School in Bangalore, and then pursued an undergraduate Master of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka is a master of studies in economics. Anushka Sharma wanted to be journalist or model, but was not a performer. Anushka moved to Mumbai after she completed her degree and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a fashion model was in 2017, after she modelled with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week followed by being selected by Rodricks to appear in the Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has participated with a number of campaigns for brands after her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films as an actor and attended an acting class alongside her career as a model. Anushka made her debut as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan. In order to prepare for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took a full day. After that, she was contracted for three films under Yash Raj Films banner. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the film (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed critiques. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the same movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat. She played an Punjabi woman in the middle class who owns her own wedding company. The film received a positive review. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
